OLÁ!

If people are all different, why are language teaching methodologies so similar?

More than learning new words and grammar rules, learning a new language is about crossing oceans and exploring new worlds.

Experiencing new cultures, smells and tastes requires  the envolvement of the senses, which are unique for every one of us.

People have their own pace for entering this new world and navigating an unknown sea. We all have our own time, strengths and weaknesses, our tastes, difficulties, and preferences. It was precisely with  this in mind that I created my courses, for absolutely all tastes:

I deliver a 100% personalized approach and engaging teaching that involves three parameters: the language itself, the culture (Portuguese culture) that frames the language, and the linguistic habits that facilitate communication and understanding in among natives. That's why, in addition to traditional group classes, I offer individual lessons that are 100% tailored to the student's goals, including practical lessons in Lisbon and Cascais, where I personally guide and mentor the student to overcome language difficulties and communicate freely with native speakers (see A Day With Dina Experience).

If you've recently moved to Portugal - or plan to move in the near future - and want to learn the basics to “get by” in Portugal (or any Portuguese-speaker country), or if you want to develop your already basic knowledge of Portuguese language and culture, or maybe you want to deepen your knowledge of the language and enter the wonderful and magical world of Lusophone literature, you're on the right site!

Take a few minutes to look at what we offer in terms of  learning Portuguese before you consider closing this site and moving on to the next.

Sincerely yours
Dina
